We have a high success rate for locating an address for most subjects residing in the US. We do not have a flat fee for locating a subject as there are just to many factors. Most subjects have assets, family, employment, utility records, vehicles, etc that assist in locating someone while others may be hiding intentionally. We never know how difficult a locate will be until we try.
Cost: We charge $95/hr. Almost all locates run $100 to $300, although some can be as low as $30 and special cases can be more. You can designate a budget on your request from and we will reach out to you if the search approaches that budget.
Time Frames: Typical routine locate requests take 1 to 3 weeks to complete. This allows us time to begin with basic searches and work our way up as needed, in order to keep your costs down. Time is also often needed in order to confirm the address information we have identified. When we begin the request you will be provided a reference number; if you do not receive a reference number within 48 hours of your submission, please give us a call to make sure there are no issues with your request. After that, we ask that you please do not call or email and ask for a status on non-rush locate requests; either we are still working on locating the subject or we have finished and turned over the results to you. If you do not receive your completed results after three weeks, then you are welcome to call our office or email Research@pi-info.com for status. In order to keep your costs down, we will not take the time to go over each investigation as they transpire, and we cannot provide partial updates. We have sources/secrets we have developed over 26+ years and we are often not going to tell you how we do what we do. We will keep trying until we find your subject or until we have diligently exhausted all efforts. We appreciate your understanding and support.
Rush Time Frames: We understand some clients will have a deadline/statute and may need us to rush a locate investigation. Please understand your results may be less reliable as we may not have time to verify information to the same degree we typically would. All rush requests will be billed at $115/hr rather than $95/hr.
WE HAVE INCREASED OUR RUSH LOCATE FEES DUE TO AN INCREASE IN DEMAND
We noticed that many attorneys/clients were submitting every request as an immediate rush. If every request is labelled as a rush, it creates problems when a true rush (<2 weeks deadline) needs to be accommodated. In order to continue providing the fast and high quality rush locate services that you may require in a pinch, we are changing our RUSH fee from a flat $35 to a $25 hourly increase.
Getting started: Just email the attached request form to the email on the form. List all the known details of the subject(s) and we will get started. Please fill out one form per subject. Make sure you fill out the case caption info, if no case has been filed yet then enter the info as if it will be filed and please list Pending in the case number box. We will respond to your email with a job number in the subject line. If you do not receive a response in a few hours, call our office to make sure we received your request.

ATTORNEYS: DO NOT PROVIDE COPIES OF OUR REPORTS TO YOUR CLIENTS. As an attorney working with an investigator you are privileged to certain information, such as OR DMV info that your client does not have the permissible purpose to see. As the attorney we are sure you know this, please make sure your staff does as well. If your client request a copy of our report, then make them a redacted copy or request one from our office.
