Writ of Garnishment Preparation Request Form

Any company or bank doing business in Oregon is required to respond to a writ of garnishment that is served at an Oregon address. We will have an Oregon attorney review and issue the writs of garnishment before we send them out with the process server. Have a copy of your Judgment in hand when filling out this form, you will need to email or mail a copy of a signed judgment at the end or pay to have us obtain a copy. If we prepared your Small Claims Judgment, then you will not have to send a copy of your judgment as we have it on file.

Any company or bank outside of Oregon is not required to respond, however, we find most will. Understand if you elect to send a writ of garnishment out of state, there’s no guarantee the bank or employer will respond. The Defendant must live in Oregon to do an out of state writ.
